VENT

Re: VENT

Hon, I could honestly say , I am in the same boat you are. My experience at Bridal Reflections is horrendous and nothing but a big disappointment. Bottom line, these salons, do care about the 'new' customer. When I was a 'new' custumer, i had the royal treatment. When there was blood on my gown at my second fitting, I was told to sit and wait, since the General Manager had to work with someone else at that moment. Keep us posted regarding your dress. Perhaps you could get it altered somewhere else ?

I ordered my dress from Adriennes also, and I am not sure if I asked or they volunteered the info, but I knew from when I ordered the dress that I could only do fittings on the weekdays...which totally sucks! I am probably going to have to leave work early on the days I go for fittings....

It stinks that you and your girls were never told about the shops' policies. That was not a cool thing for them to do....

Thanks- it wouldn't be such a big deal if I were on LI during the week but I'm not. And even if I can swing getting out of work early or taking a day off for MY fittings (which won't be easy as I only get a certain # of days and most of them are being taken to prepare for the wedding and go on our honeymoon) I certainly can't ask that of 6 other people!

Can they take the gowns someplace convenient for the alterations??

(I had the same problems - I work in midtown & live in queens - it's so frustrating.)

I can talk to them about it. It's just the point that I was looking forward to going w/ all of them together on a Saturday and then having lunch w/ them since I don't get to see them all very often b/c of our busy schedules. If they were honest w/ me upfront I would've just ordered the dresses in Manhattan.
