Vent!!!

Vent!!!

Why is that that some of my study group buddies feel that its ok to call me at work to help them with a homework that's due in today's evening class!!!

They had a full week to try it, make mistakes, AND ask for help!!! Plus this was a 3-day weekend!!! Why call me at the last minute at work!

I've been there! Are some of them full time students? When I was going to school part time I had a lot of full timers in my study groups who didn't have a clue about respecting my job hours...its such a pain in the arse!

No, there arent any full timers, we are all part timers and all have jobs!!!

all I have to say is stay with the same group= because eventually you'll be in a class and you'll be weak & they'll be strong and you'll be bothering them.

although it is unacceptable.

Sazzy, I agree that its ok to ask for help, but why wait till last minute? I mean we have a week between classes.

It gets worse- believe me- this is my 4th semester and I still can't believe these are MBA students.

probably 2 more years I think... To tell you honestly- I don't look at the big picture- I simply concentrate on getting through the semesters- especially since there are a lot of really annoyingly boring classes you have to take (which is what I'm doing this semester). So every time I get through something like economics, or finance or accounting or CIS I celebrate- b/c really, they are NOT my thing.

I'll offer sympathy...except mine is a work at homer...who sends our group 50 emails a day!!! ugh

I don't give out anything but home number though and email!!

I would just chalk it up to these people being the same ones who did homework for one class in homeroom or the period before it was due and asked their best friend to help them, thus making both of them NOT pay attention to the teacher and be really lost.

Sorry, I just took a trip down memory lane...
