vent about my day...feel free to ignore WITH UPDATE

i am in my last semester in a BSN program...so for my classes we have to go to different hospitals for different rotations....well this semester i'm in Brooklyn in a very bad area (professor who works there told us to only park on the floor with a secure entrance ) and no matter which way i have gone, it has taken me 1.5h ++ to get there and back. I even tried staying in NJ at FH's apartment....this totally suckkkkkkkkkssssss!!! Next week we get a break bc we are at a different location for a psych rotation...but after that its 5 more weeks of brooklyn and traffic and the effing BELT PARKWAY!!! I called the dean of my department to see if i can get transferred to something closer to my home (suffolk county) and it was like she wasn't even listening!!!! I HATE THAT!!! She has no idea how exhausted we all are from this commute!!!!!!! So you know what she says to me?? I don't know if there is much we can do...just be good to yourself this semester....get to bed earlier....

OK thanks for listening to me moan and groan about BS....theres a nice bottle of wine and dinner waiting for me

sorry the commute to brooklyn can be a pain, the traffic gets so bad, i also have a long commute and i know how exhausting it can be. I hope they can do something for you soon

Ugh..brooklyn traffic if the worse!! I'm sorry girlie!!

uhhh i feel ur pain!!!!!! ive been driving back and forth to brooklyn for the last 3 years and the traffic S U C K S!!!!!!!!!!!

oh my FH knows the belt paarkway traffic REAL WELL.. and so do i... im sooo sorry.

are there any streets that can get u where you need faster then the belt?

so i spoke to the person who actually oversees my program...i woke myself up at 9am just to call her before she had anywhere to go (i think she teaches too)...and...she was very sympathetic ( ) and the best she could do was suggest that i WAKE UP EARLIER!!!! I AM NOT WAKING UP AT 4:30 AM!! It's not like i'm driving all the way there to take pictures...i'm working with peoples lives!!! And on top of this...i work 3p-11p at my own job!! Anyway, bottom line, as expected there is 'nothing they can do'....a few more weeks till graduation.....i can't frikkin wait anymore!
