Venting Session- Florist Issue (No names mentioned)

So my florist called me last night to make the final arrangements and give me the final bill. I was quoted 2800-3200. My final bill came in at 4700. Am I out of my mind that I am ready to take a prisoner????

I am absolutely livid that this happened. Any ideas?

The only thing that I can think of is that it is the cost of the 4 cp and set up and delivery. IMHO that is still OUTRAGEOUS!

What did you itemized contract have for the price of centerpieces?

Was it a contract, or an estimate? What prevents anyone from giving a ridiculously low estimate - and then overchargind anyway?

I would be FUMING right now... especially that they're doing this right before your wedding. I hope that you tell us who this is after the wedding so that future brides know not to use them.

the difference in price is crazy. i would call them and ask for a line by line breakdown.. i love how they pull this just before your wedding...

That is so strange. You should have them send you a copy of their breakdown of the price then compare it to your contract. It shouldn't have gone up that much in price over a few centerpieces. Let us know how everything goes. Good luck!
