I didn't realize wedding planning would be so difficult until I started thinking about venues and realized Im without a clue. I came upon this site last year and now that I'm engaged I see that I need tremendous help and I'm hoping someone can offer me some venue advice.
In my mind I picture a small wedding, 50 guests at most, a daytime out door ceremony preferably on site of reception and reception in a room with lots of light, perhaps full wall of windows. Ive come across web sites with locations that meet my ideals in terms of site however all require a guest minimum far more that I wish to have. Here lies my dilemma.
Can anyone recommend a site that would meet my ideas and would be it too much to ask that it wont completely leave me in the poor house? I haven't set a date, so im flexible with dates and locations, from new york, outer boroughs or new jersey north and south.
Thank you to anyone reading my far too long a first post!

Re: Venue Help !
Call some of the places you are interested in. Some may work with your number since you are flexible on date and want a day time wedding.

Re: Venue Help !
if you go here you can narrow the RH's down by the amount of people..
I should be the spokes person for westbury manor, lol. They have smaller weddings there and light would stream into the the hill room or garden room. I also recommend the snapper Inn and I think there is a place called Blackwells, its a rest. Seriously, if you are having a daytime wedding your in good shape, go for a Sunday!!! I saved around 40pp doing it on a Sunday!! Good luck!!

Try Miller Beach Surf Club! I've heard people recommend them for smaller weddings. The outdoors looks gorgeous and it's right on the water.

Re: Venue Help !
You can check my venue Danfords. Also check out Captain Bills. I would also call the different halls after looking at the RH guide and call them. Since you are so flexible the may all be willing to work with you.
