Venue Questions

Is there a thread on here or a list of questions you girls used when visiting venues. We want to start our search now that FH's Overtime is slowing down from sandy & I want to know what important things you asked about. Thanks!!

what is the minimum people, how much is ceremoney fee if iyou were to get married there, do u offer a tasting, how early can i arrive

Definitely these! I also found it helpful to ask if tax/gratuity is included in the price, does the venue include the cake and centerpieces, how many stations/passed hors d'oeuvres you'll get during cocktail hour, how long your reception will be, will you be the only event at a time (I was looking for a place with one wedding at a time). Be as specific as you can and get them to write EVERYTHING they promise you on the quote they give you!

I felt they answered most of our questions, but do you have different sized tables to fit more or less people? Are there areas to take pictures on the grounds?
