When I was showing all of the websites to FH, he LOVED what he saw of Thatched Cottage - I'm SO excited to see it in person!

My gf got married at Thatched Cottage 2 years ago and it was beautiful!! Only reason why we didn't book with them, was because they didn't have our date available

I went to a wedding at Thatched Cottage in 2010 and the cocktail hour was amazingggg and huge! Beautiful venue. I really enjoyed the wedding :)

Thatched Cottage was our top choice, but it was two weddings at a time, and they said since we have a smaller guest count, we can only use the upstairs room.

Really? We booked Thatched Cottage because it's 1 wedding at a time. That was the #1 must have on our list. Do you mind me asking how many guests you're inviting? We guaranteed a 150 minimum and they said we were the only event that day.

I can't wait to hear your review of Timber I am going this weekend also. I intially wanted the same date you have but we changed it just to save some money. Maybe we can FM (what is that LOL) to discuss quotes. I inquired about Harbor Club at Prime so I am going to try there as well Has anyone received quotes from there?

You'll have a blast looking at places. I agree about Fox Hollow. it was BEAUTIFUL and I loved that you would have that whole new section to yourself. They didn't have much dates for August, but they quoted me $106pp for a Friday night if that helps. Also I'd suggest that you don't stress too much about the price because you can always negotiate down once you narrow down your choices. Good luck :)

I looked at Lands End in Sayville. They qouted me for sunday wedding may 2014, $150 PP !! That is insane. We looked at Thatched Cottage and fell in love instantly. We didn't get a chance to look anywhere. Maureen was so wonderful to deal with and made you feel right at home. Just like a few others said above. The food is out of this world and the venue is just so cozy. My fiance and I are booked for a Sunday evening at Thatched Cottage and our base price was $90.95 PP. Of course we added the seafood bar and the special deluxe dessert. But they are willing to work with you to fit your budget! Hope you book there!!

I really really loved Timber Point! I almost booked there - I visited TVI right after and just fell in love. If I hadn't seen TVI, I would have booked Timber Point. Miriam is a doll!
