Venues Fall 2016
Hello Ladies! I recently got engaged this holiday season and wanted some input from you guys about some venues I was interested in. We are looking for a November 2016 wedding for about 150 guests (loving that its still fall and off season pricing). Here were the venues we liked so far:1. Smithtown Landing Country Club
2. Chateau at Coindre Hall
3. Mansion at Timber Point
4. Westbury Manor
5. Estate at Three Village Inn
Has anybody had experience with any of these venues? also, does anyone mind sharing quotes they got? thank you so much guys, looking forward to hearing from you! :) So excited!!!

Congrats! I chose November for the same exact reason! I don't have quotes for any of those but I have quotes for Watermill (my venue) lombardis on the sound, and East Wind let me know if you want those :) Happy planning!

You have FM for Timber Point. I got these prices back in May so I'm not sure if they've changed or not. On the bottom of the sheet I was given it says the date it was revised is November 2013. Miriam was so nice when I met with her!

Also, a lot of places consider the last two weekends in October to be the off-season as well, or at least that is what most venues told us when we did our venue last months. Our October 25th price was the same as the November dates.

I have some info on Timber Point and 3Village Inn for you, I will FM you.The only thing I would suggest on Timber Point is to be cautious of the cocktail hour room for that amount of people. If the weather is nice, the outside area is AMAZING and they had some heaters out there I think. But if there's inclement weather I would be nervous the cocktail hour space is very tight. Just a thought while you look around. The reception area and grounds are really beautiful though!
I never maid it to 3village inn because we ended up booking Fox Hollow. Check out the Winter Garden Room there, if you like the looks of Timber Point & 3 Village you may like that room too. Price-wise came in very similar to Timber Point plus a lot of extras included.

Venues Fall 2016
Thank you guys so much for all your messages and quotes!! I've narrowed it down to1- Coindre Hall ---absolutely beautiful and i loved that it was such a unique venue, but its in the top end of my budget but it would definitely be a fairytale if i chose here. SO many beautiful picture opportunities and the manager was so nice.
2- Mansion at timber point --loved loved loved intimate feel and fireplaces and hardwood floors, not to mention the incredible views in the back patio, i thought it would look incredible in the fall. my fiancé also loved it there. my only reservations are the cocktail hr space being a little small if there is bad weather but at least the outside can be heated and there is an awning incase of rain! Maureen was also a sweetheart and made us feel right at home.
3. Bellport country club --went here based on the recommendation of kelynicole91 and glad i checked it out! I think i liked the look of timber point more but there are a lot of pros here- the menu options are fantastic, and they are very flexible. the price was a bit more expensive than timber point but i feel like you get a lot of perks with the price, for example centerpieces are included!
UGH IM SO TORN and OVERWHELMED!!!! lol I have to take my fiancé to bellport and coindre hall, i only went with my sister but we'll see what his input is. We're also going to go to timber points showcase next weekend to taste the food and maybe negotiate with them. Wish me luck! haha i will keep you guys posted!

Bellport just had a showcase on the 11th so I'm not sure when they will have another. But they also offer a tasting (Robert may have told you this) for $20 pp and if you book it gets credited towards the deposit. We were 99% sure we were going with Bellport so that's why we did the tasting and the food sold us!
