I'm booked with Bayview House at Captain Bill's for April 11th (sooo sooon!) and my sister also got married there 3 years ago. I absolutely love the venue, food is amazing and you can't beat the room or the view (I'm slightly biased). FH and I are paying for everything ourselves as well so price was huge for us, but CB's definitely worked with us with pricing and compared to everywhere else we went the price was great for what you receive! If you haven't been there before you should go to the restaurant for dinner to get a taste of the food. You'll definitely be impressed! They have been great through the planning process as well, so if you have any other specific questions about there I'd be happy to try to answer! Good luck with the venue hunt!

Im so happy to hear that! I went there yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with the space! I am brining my fiancé back this weekend for dinner (since we have never been there) and we'll be able to see it set up for an event they have that night. Fingers crossed!

I'm booked at sunset Harbour in patchogue. It's right on the water and very reasonably priced. the whole staff has been super helpful and nice and they gave me a bunch of extras in the end also.

Does anyone have any pricing for the View in Oakdale. I want to know what others have paid per person so I know how to negotiate.

Not sure about pricing, but they only do one wedding per week - on Saturday afternoons (they shut down the whole restaurant). Have you checked the lessings website for pricing they may have it?
