My fiance and I are getting married this year and are looking at Verdis of Westbury. Any words of wisdom for us? Comments, concerns or criticisms ? We are a little bit nervous about the wedding and just want things to go smoothly. If you have had or been to a wedding there, please we would like to hear how it was. Thanks

Re: Verdis of Westbury
My fh wants to go and check out Verdi's of Westbury too. That was his first choice. I have passed it but never went inside to check it out just yet. The one thing I was not happy with was that you can't take pictures outside. There is no flowers or gardens. I don't know if that is a big deal to you or not. But I did hear that the prices are affordable. Going to look for yourself is the best thing.

Re: Verdis of Westbury
My best friend is having her engagement party there and I went to a cristening there. I would say it is more of a place for big parties that are not as formal as a wedding. There is really nowhere to take pictures and they have I think 5 rooms so who know how many brides or parties would be there at the same time. (JMO)

My MOH's niece was married there TODAY! I will have a review (and possibly pics) next week. Their ceremony and reception were there, wedding was to be about 80 guests.

We had my fathers 50th birthday party last October and everything was wonderful. Food was great and service was very good. Rocco is very easy to work with

We went there to check it out and they are very affordable...We even called and they lowered the prices too.
That was one of 3 places we had wanted but we didnt pick there because it was right on Old Country road and next door to a gas station and a Dunkin Donuts and that bothered me a little

Re: Verdis of Westbury
I am getting married at Verdi's in October. There is another bride who is actually getting married there next week. I'm looking forward to her review.
Verdi's is very affordable and I like the fact that it is family owned. They have been very good to us and were very willing to work with us. I have no complaints.
I think Verdi's is a nice place for an evening wedding. There is not a lot in the way of taking pictures, but they do have a cute gazebo which I plan to take advantage of. Sometimes you have to compromise a little bit on things. However FH and I will be taking our pictures at the Old Westbury Gardens.
Definitely check them out. If I can be of any help let me know.
