Does anyone have an experience dealing with Verdi's of Whitestone? Planning a shower for 40 people, and went to see this place last night. The rooms are newly renovated, so that is a plus, however, we really didnt get a good vibe after speaking with the manager. I hate to sound like a snotty bit**, but he kinda seemed really unprofessional when we were speaking with him. To make matters worse, we were speaking with him in his office, which was right acorss from a loud party going on, which made it really hard to hear. I really wanted to like this place, so I am hoping our initial reaction was wrong and some of you out there have had some good experiences with this place.THANKS!

Re: Verdi's of Whitestone
My fiance worked there back in the day and he said that they're nice. I've also been to a couple of parties there recently (Showers and weddings) maybe go back again to see if you will get a different vibe. maybe he was having an 'off' day.
Hi, thanks for replying. Did you like the food when you went? I think I am going to go back and take a second look. I live in Westchester, so I have to go in the evening after work, so it takes a little planning, but the location would be ideal because most guests are coming from LI.

I had my sweet 16 there yearssssssss ago, my family has had so many parties there, we know the owners family -- theyre really nice people, maybe he was having an 'off' night. That place is perfect for a RD or a shower, the food is good too. I would go take a second look.

Re: Verdi's of Whitestone
I have been there a few times for different events. One was a shower, one was Tammi's E-party and the most recent was our company Christmas party. They were all great.
The food is delicious and the service was really good. On top of that, the rooms are really nice.
Maybe you went on an off day because the mgrs are usually super helpful and accomodating.

Re: Verdi's of Whitestone
Here's my opinion....I've been to a wedding at Verdis in westbury...not sure if this well help but here it goes....
The service was absolutely HORRIBLE! Their staff was annoyed and didnt want to be bother with us...such as getting food for the bride, drinks, etc....
Come reception.....nasty when staff was asking what we wanted to order, takes our orders food comes out.....waitor throws the plate on the table, meet is so raw, full of fat and cold!
Cake time.....they served the cake had to ask for the spoon b/c the waitor took it when they went around collecting the other plates.....served coffee/tea in a cup no plate underneath.
Needless to say.....just overall a HORRIFIC experience! BTW it was just our table it was the entire staff
