Verizon or cablevision

For all you homeowners out there. . . We are closing on out house next week and I am trying to set up internet, phone and TV . Any reccommendations ???

I have to say Cabelvision since FH works for them!! hehehe..I'm also biased because I get the phone, internet and tv for free!!

Cablevision...def look into IO they have a package for the internet, phone and tv thats like 100 a month for the first year....and after our first year it only went up like 10-15 dollars...

My Dad worked for Verizon for 34 years and the company gave me a college scholarship but I have to say Cablevision... it's so much cheaper.

I might also add though I'm not happy, from time to time, with the reception on the phone... I can get a lot of static and have to move around the house. It is about $70 a month cheaper and I'm not on the phone a lot so I'll deal.

You can't beat cablevision's phone prices you can call anywhere in the US for $35.00. Verizon can be 50 or more a month. Especiall if you can get the triple play and the DVR box is awesome.

i will say cablevison because they have the high speed..other then that, that is all they have to offer, they just cut out a lot of channels like the fit tv, yes, and a few others we have no choice I wish another compnay would come out, I would use them

Not sure.

We dont have any movie channels (HBO, Starz, etc.) but Im sure you could upgrade. We do have the digital cable package though with In Demand.

I hate Verizon. We were paying so much with them for phone and DSL. And their DSL never worked right for me because we have cordless phones that ran on the same frequency as their DSL, so we couldn't use phone and internet and the same time. What a pain! I can't tell you how many times I had to call them.

We switched the to Optimum Triple Play and we saved a few hundred dollars the first year. We now pay $29.95 each for phone, internet and cable and we have been very pleased.
