very confused

Ok so my mom's cousin, his wife, and his 3 kids are invited to the wedding. The kids are going on 17, 16, and 13. The middle girl has been with her bf for awhile, so I do think I should invite him.

However, how do I address this invite? I was just doing to do 'The _____ Family.' If I send the 16 yr old a separate invite w/ 'and guest' on it, then I'm going to have to do that for her siblings and all her cousins, which just seems like a waste of money.

I don't think I'm getting an inner envelope...so I am very confused about how I label this. Do I just verbally extend the invite?

I didn't have inner envelopes and I wrote on the outside envelope the following:

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe
and family

One of our GMs sister is in a serious relationship, and since his mom thought it was silly for me to send 3 invites there (for parents, the GM, then the sister), I addressed it as:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
& Miss Kate Smith and Mr. Joe Brown

I think its fine!

Question, are there other people under the age of 18 who have been with a bf for awhile that you aren't inviting with their date?!

I wouldn't send a separate invite to the 16 yr old, I'd just write Mr & Mrs so and so and family. Then you or your mom can tell her that that includes her bf too. HTH

Nope, no one else under 18 has a bf/gf.
