There's always LIW and LIFamilies here so you can chat and meet people. A lot of friendships have formed out of LIW. So just stay here and chat with us, and you won't feel so alone.

I was going to say this as well - you really should go to the GTG, you will meet some really great girls!

Some hugs coming you way! Lean on your husband for support. Call your best friend, and find a resolve - life is too short. In the meantime, keep posting - I'm sure a GTG is right around the corner!

I am sorry you're feeling this way. You can see a therapist even though you don't have health insurance. Many will use a sliding scale fee, so you may want to explore that option. You can also try to join a book of the month club or something like that to meet others. Try to attend some of the GTGs so that you can meet other brides to be and newlyweds. I hope you feel better soon!

Yes! Don't let the lack of health insurance keep you from seeing someone if you think that will help! Sometimes universities and colleges have great services available with a sliding scale - FM me if you'd like more info....
Volunteering for an organization is also a great way to meet people and get involved with others plus make yourself feel better. Why not check out the local library and see if they need help with any fundraisers, events, etc.? I hope you feel better soon!

not to pry too much... but is there a specific reason why you dont work? it seems lke that may help... even working part time if you can might be a good way for you to get out and meet new people and make friends... and i know some places ( like starbucks) offer health insurance even for part time employees- then you would be able to see a therapist.
i definitely wouldn't let the lack of health insurance keep you from seeing a therapist- like the other posters said, there are plenty that will work with you on a fee scale... good luck, and keep us posted!!
