So I went to see my DJ the other day and they tell me that they are doing another wedding at the same place and the same night as mine. It's starting at 6pm and mine at 7:30pm which I was ok w/ until I called the hall and was told that I am only allowed to be at the hall until a 1/2 hour before my cocktail hour to take pictures there. I was not made aware of this the day I booked and I am so disappointed. What should I do?? Is this an issue for anyone else??

What get outta here thats not fair .. Then its gonna run into your cocktail hour..... WOW what hall if you dont mind me asking?? I think you should just go to another location for pictures and then the last few pictures you can take at the hall so it doesnt run into cocktail hour....

Man that's not cool. I would complain and make sure you read your contract again. If it states that you can't be there earlier than a half hour before then there's nothing you can do but if it doesn't then I would show up early anyway. Sorry you are so disappointed, I know I would feel the same way

I just reviewed my contract and it says nothing about arriving early for pics anywhere. The only thing it has is if the RH is used then more time blocked then there will be an additional cost. At the time I booked I was the only affair. They never notified me to let me know that there would be another event.
