very excited for tonight

one year ago tonight my Fh and I got engaged at the View Restaurant in the Marriot Marquis.

Fh is taking me back tonight.. :

On a negitive note tonight is going to be difficult because this time last yr my FMIL was alive and celebrating with us on our engagment

have a great time, i know it will be hard cause you will be thinking of fmil but know she is watching you guys and i am sure she is so happy!! she will be there with you even tho you dont see her!

Every first without her will be hard, but I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that. I think its great that he's taking you back there, I hope you had a good time! Congrats on your one year mark! A lot of happy moments may be bittersweet, especially for him, but the important thing is that you have each other, and that she knew you were engaged and was happy for you.
