Very Important Advice re: Invitations

that is EXTREMELY rude... wow

especially since she just attended your wedding and you found room to accommodate her and her FH.

Honestly, if you're not that close with her i wouldn't attend. why go when you know you're b-list... and call me catty, but i am not so sure i would send a gift either.

Isn't July 1 a really early response date for a 9/22 wedding??

We just mailed out our invites for our 9/14 wedding with a response of 8/14

If she is a close friend of yours I don't think you should be offended. Weddings are hard to fit everyone you want in. Especially when big families are involved. It seems like she is feeling so ackward about it herself so what's the point of feeling offended... Simply think that you could have just saved yourself some moolah...

I agree. Plus, we all know that we cant have everyone we care about. So, forgive her - she took the time to email you and let you know she would love to have you. If she didnt care - she would not have written at all.

I agree. I guess depending on how close I was with this friend, I'd be a little sad about it, but not so much offended. And I think she wrote it in a nice way, I don't think it's really embarrassing for her. I had to invite some people sort of last minute and they totally understood and are coming. Now if she's like your best friend & you totally assumed you'd be invited, in that case I'd be pissed.

WOW!!! I dont even know what to say about that. I mean I understand b/c I planned my wedding-but if I was at yours you would definitely be on my 'A' list...weird situation I guess.
That is definitely good advice though
