Sorry I haven't been around, but FH I & had a very very tragic death this past week. On Thanksgiving night, our very dear friend passed away. He was to be one of our GM, and he died of pneumonia, complicated by chemotherapy & lung cancer. We spent the last week in the hospital every night & had the burial last night.

It has been very hard to think about our wedding in 5 weeks, knowing that he will not physically be there.

I just want to warn you all.....Gary was misdiagnosed with only pneumonia for 5 months before the doctors realized he had cancer. IF they had properly diagnosed him, he would have had a good chance of recovering 100%. Please take your own precautions & have thorough testing whenever you might be ill.

FH & I are sad, but we realize that he will be with us in spirit, and had already blessed us by accepting to be part of our day.

My friend died of cancer last year. She was very, very, very young.

One of our best friend's, also a GMs died tragically a few months ago. I know they will be around us in spirit, but it still took me a good month to feel happy again about anything, including the wedding. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am very sorry for your loss - it is very difficult when someone who shouldn't have died leaves us.

My fathers cousin (who I called my uncle) died earlier this past spring from cancer of the esophagus. He was also misdiagnosed. If it had been caught they might have been able to remove it before it grew too big and then passed into his lungs. here are some hugs
