I hate saying this, but Im almost dreading my wedding!! Our hall has been giving us problems and tossing us from person to person from the beginning and now all of a sudden 8 days before the wedding there are these extra fees they never told us about- its things they had said were included. Im just so frustrated!

Have you checked with other Fox Hollow Brides and seen if they experienced something similar? Are you sure these fees arent in your contract - even on the back or in the tinyest of print?
Would you feel more comfy going there with a higher up and going over the contract one more time!
That kinda bites and you dont need that right now

Ughhh that is not cool. Do you have anything in your contract that you could use to prove those things should be included??????? Hope you get that straight soon, you should not be dreading your wedding day

extra fees suck, and that is not cool if they are doing this suddenly and it's not in your contract.
BUT i will say that my sister had the most AMAZING wedding at fox hollow 8 years ago; people still talk about it, so don't dread your wedding - it will be amazing.
I would go to your hall and calmly and nicely discuss this with them and tell them you are a little disturbed by it. Good luck!

Oh no!!! Were all these 'extras' told to you when you first met with them? What are you being charged extra for?

they told us when we booked that if we used their recommended officiant that their fee was included in the ceremony fee. So we booked him. And today they said that he is an extra $350. But in the contract they put a dash as to signify no charge and not a dollar amount. I think part of the problem is that they wouldnt give me a real contract and everything is sloppily hand written and most people we have delt with have since been 'on a leave of abscence' so we get a bajillion answers to everything we ask. We are just so done with it!

i didnt have that problem with my hall but other vendors gave me the run around
i totally understand what its like to not be excited
but pull it together..only another week and it will all be over
