Very upset

I really cant believe all that happened on here today and i feel terrible that it has caused one of my dear friends to not post anymore.

I enjoy coming on here and chatting and getting advise from some of the greatest women on earth the LIW women, but the witch hunts are getting out of hand..

Who gives a rats fanny who is getting engaged and who is fake and who is not. does it really matter to you who is getting married?
I am stunned to read that terrible thread. Some of those posts were so out of line i still cant believe it, What allure is going through right now, happened to me once and it did help to talk about to people and if i had known about LIW i would have definalty come here for comfort and if i had and i got that kind of responce i dont know what i would have done.

I am sure that some of you will blast me for this post but i really dont care, i will not respond after this post, but i just wanted to say i liked it better when we got along and there was no BASHING and cruelty. I am a very friendly and fun loving person and I just dont like what i read from time to time about some of the members on this board, and it makes me sad and i dont come here to be sad, so maybe i should reconsider posting as well..

Things continue to snowball when more and more threads keep getting posted about it.

The attack on allure was very childish, though I have a hard time feeling too much sympathy for her since she's brought most of the trouble on herself (no reason to stoop to her level though). She's not allowed to cause problems on here just because she's going through a rough time with her man, but we also shouldn't hold her sitaution against her.

Chip - I have a hard time believing you wouldn't have been involved in today's drama if you and R&T were still friends, so don't get too high on your horse.

Its sad people are leaving, but I give them credit for wanting a more positive influence in their life. And we all know how addicting this site is - they'll be back

Your kinds of posts are the reason people leave. any reason to attack chip? you dont know what she 'would' have done, and i for one find it RUDE that you would even say that. I see no posts on here about this, I saw lee lees post and found it nessasary to say something.

Suzanne I'd hate to see you go but I understand, even though I was one of them in the thread, I HAD to let it out, it was a LONG time coming.

I think I am nice on here & helpful as I have been told numerous times, but I don't think you should go.

I just wanted to add that some of the threads (not just stuff from today) seem to turn into a mob mentality. Someone disagrees with someone else and then they get 'jumped' on by so many people. I honestly feel that if there are underlying issues, they should be resolved in FM and not here on the boards. And if they can't be resolved, then ignore the people that you do not see eye to eye with. If you have a personal gripe with someone, leave the rest of the people on here out of it. Don't try to 'out' them on here. Isn't that as wrong as what they have done to you? First of all it seems to get a lot of people involved that don't need to be, and then they don't get dropped, but dragged on not only in the initial thread but in several other threads as well (as I am contributing to now.. sorry, just wanted to speak my mind).

When people like Suzanne and Leelee talk about leaving, I think others should step back and take a look at what is going on. I do not ever remember a bad word from either of them about anyone. They have started some of the nicest and funnest threads that I have seen on here, and I think these boards would suffer a great deal if they were to leave.

I am just asking that we all remember that even though we are behind a computer that we are dealing with people who have feelings. We are married ladies, or about to be married ladies and we should act on here as we would anywhere else. I know I have used these before, but:

treat other people as you wish to be treated

if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all

take the high road

Very good Liz!! I feel bad about my participation in todays feeding frenzy and promised I would never get involved in the mob mentality. I feel very ashamed

Yeah, but I used to go to bat for those who were being picked on and although I didn't say anything directly about who said what, etc. , I feel like I caved in and sold out to stay popular or in good graces with a select few or something? I should have stayed out of it because it wasn't my fight to battle. Neutral ground is always the safest place.

I left a week or so ago, and I just came back last night, b/c of the negativity on the board. It drives me crazy.

Now I'll check on the board once in a while, like here, and post occasionally, but I'm not really as active as I used to be-and won't be. The drama's too time consuming anyway .

There are a couple of girls on here that are trying to cause trouble, but let's not stoop to their level! They have nothing better to do that talk about people...s*cks for them. WE (the rest of us!) have weddings to plan!!

I really enjoy these boards. I have met some really nice and caring people.
Despite all the drama today I just wanted to let all those who were ever nice to me or for that matter nice to each other THANKS .
It makes me feel good to belong to something and I hope all of you feel the same way some what

I have enjoyed getting to meet girls from here, and get advice, I love knowing there are other people as excited about wedding planning as I am.. After all thats what were all here for.. to spend time with each other and help each other out!
