very upset- UPDATED on 2nd page

well girls im very upset and I cant say its not my fault. Alot of you are really great and so helpful but some can be sneaky.... I guess i cant say I blame them. But anyways I have been talking to a band and planning on meeting with them and booking them this fri at their showcase. A few days ago I wrote a post about the band on this wonderful website. well it turns out that the women I have been talking to called me tonight to tell me that my date got booked and that it just so happened that someone read my post on LIweddings and decided to book them....on my date, when they knew i was i nterested! well there isnt much I can do now. Im just really upset. I know its not a big deal and I cant blame them but...this leads to me to my next decision....Im taking abreak from the website. Im not goignto be posting anymore of my information that way this cant happen again. Im sure I will be checking in time from time but I guess this wedding stuff can get pretty serrious soooo yup, NOW I know why people dont post all their information...I guess I just learned the hard way...no more mrs. helpful over here Im goign to look out for my best interst from now on.

Honestly, that's why I didn't share info about vendors I planned on booking until I had already booked them. Unfortunately you can't really trust people to not want to grab a good thing for themselves if given the opportunity.

I am sorry! I also try not to post information like that until I have the vendor booked because you just never know with people. She probably had been thinking about it, saw your post and ran and booked them before you could. I am really sorry this happened to you!

OMG that is horrible! I am so sorry that you had to experience this. I understand wanting to take a break but I really do hope you come back when you feel more comfortable. I know you are probably extremely annoyed but I truly am sorry. You will be missed

actually the bride who booked us mentioned a post on liweddings so we looked it up and i knew you were the one who wrote it because the name was so similar to your email...
goes to show you just how interested we were..the women remembered my email from sending me information. I wish they would have called me to tell me someone was coming in for my date but I cant blame them!
FH feels bad also I was crying tonight and he said we can go to as many showcases as I want untill we find someone haha!
Ill be back....just be careful girls! There are some ruthless people out there...weddings can bring out the worst of people

Im so sorry... I know it su cks really bad, just try not to take these things too personally...I mean yea, it was kinda mean that someone would book that date, but just remember one thing... just bc we are brides, doesnt mean we own or call a shotty on anything. Thats why i booked a year a half in advance. Im sure youll find an even better vendor!
