VIDEO CRISIS

VIDEO CRISIS

So, as most of you know we are already married. We got married in April and now we are having a bigger reception in August. It was initially supposed to be just a party. It has blown up into a full reception with everything from uplighting to candelabras. We decided not to do a photographer because when we originally got married we had Mariann at Blue Daisy take tons of professional pictures of us and we love them. We also decided not to have a videographer because we felt it was unnecessary.

Now that I have been thinking about it I REALLY WANT A VIDEOGRAPHER! It makes me feel sad that we wont have a video to watch.

The only way I can get one is if it is SUPER cheap and they are available on 8/06. Do you think I will be able to find anyone? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try Fade to Black. That is who we used and we love our wedding video. DH did not want to get a video - so I did this on my own. Needless to say - I WAS RIGHT - and he is so happy we did it now.

My photography company also does videography, and they are super reasonably priced. You can also save cost on video but not having them edit it, and just record raw footage, or semi-edited. Just a suggestion.

I am using Morale Visual Productions.

My husband usually doesnt want something and then totally agrees with me and is relieved we did it after the fact. Basically I am going to need to do all the leg work and then pretty much just tell him what we are doing.

I emailed Fade To Black. I just hope they are available on my date. I know it is super short notice. Would you mind FMing me how much they charged you and for what services?

When I was looking, Wedding Cinemas was one of the least expensive that I came across. I am using JayRCastillo - he was having a special at the time, so his price was the same as Wedding Cinema - maybe he will give you the same deal.

As close to free as possible, lol!

I dont think we can go through Mariann. She is a little pricey but her work was amazing.

Re: VIDEO CRISIS

i booked my videographer 2 weeks out bc i had the same realization you did. They were still new at the time and had great rates. I think you can get a great rate from anyone since you are 3 weeks away and if they are available now for you day they can either make a little money off you for the day or they can make nothing :)

Try Myther Ganibe! I thought his rates were very reasonable and he does AMAZING work...I'm so excited we booked with him
