FH and I signed our contract with Forever Video back in February. At the time he lived in Queens. I just happened to check his website for a friend on mine and I noticed he moved (and he moved his business) to Canada!!!!! ***?!!!
He never contacted us and I have no idea if he plans on being here for our wedding. I emailed him and he hasnt gotten back to me yet. I'm freaking out. I dont knwo if anyone on here is using them besides me, but I dont know what to do. His prices were the best I found anywhere and we cant afford another one. Not to mention, I loved his work and we booked so long ago its not fair to have to start over again. How could he pick up and move without contacting us?! We left over $600 deposit with him! I really hope he's just there temporarily or something....

That's terrible!! Like you said hopefully it's just a temporary thing and he'll be back. If not he has to at least return your deposit.. And he better return your email!! That's just messed up!! Maybe you should call him??

Is there a phone number on the web site? I'd DEFINITELY call during business hours and not wait to hear back via email!

When I googled 'Forever Video' -- I got a site for a Canadian Co and also a site for one in Flushing called 'Forever Yours Video' -- Any change the latter is yours?
(I know it's a long shot, but... I'm trying!)

Definitely contact them to see what's going on. If it helps at all, Toronto is only an hour flight from NYC (I spent a lot of time up there for work) so maybe he's just planning on flying back for any weddings he's booked in the area?

See what I posted above. The web site states that they do weddings in NY, CT, NJ, etc. in the USA. I'm hoping that means he'll still be there!

I have a friend who is photographer and he lives here but offers his services in London, Paris, etc. so he might still be the one doing your wedding just moved the company up there. Def. call and e-mail until you get a hold of him though
