Videography Recommendations-no cheese please
Hi girls,Looking for recommendations for good videographers that will be artistic, not cheesey. Also, general price range would be really helpful too. Hoping to not break the bank, but the more I think about it, the more I think I really want to be sure to capture the day on film!!!
Thanks!!!

I've heard great things about Wild Rose. I think the prices are on their web site. Also, check out DUET.

Wild RoseBliss
Motion Pictures (www.motionpicturesinc.com)--a little formulaic IMO but very TLC Wedding Story-esque.

Jennie -- what did you decide for video?
I've been trying to decide on video for like 6 months! I thought to go with this place in NJ that has very MTV-type styling, but now I'm not sure. It's really a difficult decision. We were able to rule out Motion Pictures because we decided it wasn't exactly our style. As I mentioned it's very formulaic with the same special effects and songs in every video we watched. We'd prefer something a little more 'us.' Don't get me wrong, it's a great product and they've won Emmys for the television work, it just wasn't for us.
We also looked at your videographer, Wilson Fontaine. Her work is amazing and reminded me of a Calvin Klein perfume commercial (in a good way) but I felt like many of the samples I saw created a sense of sadness for me. I'm not sure why.
I really liked LifeStories, but FH didn't. He said it was boring. I do not concur in the judgment

Having interviewed a lot of videographers, for the most part, the price depends on what you want. Most of the places I saw started at around $2000 and went up depending on if you wanted 2 camera ceremony/reception coverage, if you want video at the groom's home, if you want to do a 'love story' type interview, if you want to include baby pictures & honeymoon photos, if you want to upgrade to DVDs, etc. If you go with all these options, it's easy to get up to $5000 very quickly

The package we picked from Bliss is $2395. He's coming to my house at 12noon to video us getting ready and he will be with us for the day - til about 12midnight.
Also, instead of hiring a 2nd camer guy (was too much $$) I asked Jerry if I had my Dad video the guys getting ready at BMs house would he be able to put some of that footage in our video and he said yes.
