Video/Photography

Good Morning Everyone!

Does it really matter if you go with a Videographer and a photographer from different companies? Or is it better to go with the same company b/c they may give a little bit of a break?

Thank You!!!

It's personal preference. I think you would get a little bit of a break if you book them together, but I booked them separately because I liked two different styles.

it doesn't matter, but a FEW places will tell you that you HAVE to get videography from them if you get photography, i forgot which company it was but i know its a husband and wife team...also some photographers work for themselves and dont have videography

Mostly all the photo/video I have visited said its best to get them both from the same place, bec you never know what can go wrong if its a diff company. Also its less expensive to get them from the same place. You will have something less to worry about. But its up to you and FH what you want to do

I went with different companies b/c my photographer is only a photographer.
I booked Wild Rose for video and I'm thrilled. They do amazing work!

My guys gave me a break when I booked with both of them for video and photo. Besides the money, I also know that my photo and video guy get along very well (they're business partners!) so hopefully the'll help each other out on the day of... plus when it comes to the final product hopefully they'll be able to share work to make the final even better.

I went with Golden Moments for Video and Duet for Photo. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I think you need to make sure that the studio has photographers that specialize only in photography and the same for video if you go with one place for both.

Golden Moments does, but at that point I had my heart set on Duet. But Dan, the photographer is extremely talented.

i chose 'pros' from each business.

I think it is okay to go either way. If you find a photogrpaher you love but they only offer photo, then just find a video person somewhere else!

It doesnt really matter-you just want to make sure that they can work together.
We used 2 different companies and they worked great together and have worked together before
