Vienniesse Hour - how many are you having one added with your RH package?

I am on the fence about adding a Vienniesse hour for my wedding. As I understand, its just an extra dessert hour correct? My parents and most of FH family usually like to get home early after an event, so if our reception ends at midnight, it seems like overkill to extend the wedding until 1 am (esp since FH hates going to bed too late)...

so my question is..how many are you doing the extra hour and how much more $$ is it costing you?

I am. We didn't plan on it but they threw it in for free. I'm sure there's going to be people who leave during it but oh well..

I'm doing it and it's costing us an additional $10 per person. My reception would have ended at 11:30 so it's ending at 12:30 on a Saturday.

It would be $15 pp at Westbury Manor, but I decided not to do as I already have the chocolate fountain and the Touch of Viennese trays ( plus the included desserts)

we are! i think this is good add. weddings are so short, so i like the idea of an extra hr with some sweets.

we are not... it's just not our thing. i remember when my sister got married she had one (at Russo's) and it was amazing!!

We are!!! Mainly we are doing it for the extra time, we know we and most of our guests will not want the night to end. Now that we are ending at 1AM we do not feel a need to do anything at the hotel. I love chocolate and think the VH is so pretty! We actually ended up getting it thrown in too! Remember you will have to pay other vendors the OT as well (band or DJ).

I'm not...we're getting more than enough food already. Plus we plan on having some food at our after party.

same for us!!! we are doing the choc fountain, and the cake and they give pastry platters, we thought that was enought. and wea dong food at the after party too!

We aren't having a VH but a Vienniesse table. We got a deal pick three add on's for $10 per person when we signed so we are getting a martini bar, ice cream bar, and vienniesse table.

We aren't doing a full VH b/c it's like $15/pp, but we're doing an ice cream sundae bar just to give everyone something extra to pig out on!!

we are having a vienese display its not an hour longer but we get all the deserts. its normally $8 bucks per perso but since the hall is throwing in one freebie we are taking this one as ours...

Our VH was included in the package that we selected. However, to add the extra hour is $5pp, which we decided we are going to do.

our is included. they roll it into the main room, so while it might stop the party a bit, we wont lose guests that wander to another room...

NOT DOIN IT! Too expensive!!! I was told it was an extra 25pp... dont have that kind of money to spend on food im sure barely anyone will touch!! Id love to do it for the extra time, but its just not in our budget

I was going to but after going over the menu with FH, they actually give us like 5 dessert options, plus, we have cookie favors, wedding cake and possibly his groomscake. That's enough sweets!
