Does anyone know if Villa Lombardi's is having a showcase anytime soon? also, anyone out there have any advice or suggestions about the catering hall? We are so excited to be booked there!

yes they do! we picked Dan after loving him at the showcase..they we're all grat but he was the most personable to me & I talked to him alot that night & felt really comfortable after meeting with him. We even got to choose out DJ which isn't often allowed but our wedding is on a Thursday so it's not likely that they will have anything else on that day. Dan explained that usually yo can't pick the Dj because of location reasons. They can't book Dominick for instance at Jericho Terrace & then oh wait the next place he is wanted is out at East wind or something like that. Which makes sense. They book them is closeness to eachother for the day. With that being said, they are all awesome & I wouldn't care truthfully if we couldn't pick either! haha but glad we can :)
*oh & just a side note did you know Tommy's Tunes DJ'ed at Jamie Lynn Siegler from the Soprano's & AJ DiScala's Wedding?? I mean it ***** they're divorced now but yea how cool is that??!! haha..saw pics too when we were there

Woo hoo!! Patken Photo. and Video is the greatest! We have booked them and if we end up with a DJ (still debating between a band and dj) we will def. have Tommy's Tunes. WE love them and everything about them. Some brides have told me they are a little expensive but to me they are totally worth it. We all know food and music can make or break a wedding and by going with Lombardi's food is certainly not a concern!
Any Florist Suggestions? Florists really aren't a concern of mine and honestly I just want flowers that are cheap and will last the day long!

yeah it's nice to see other girls getting married at villas...i was the only one for awhile! we booked tommys tunes, and they do let you pick your mc and dj

Did you try calling Flower Barn? They are in Seaford. Mike is really nice and his shop is cute. He is in the middle of fixing it up again.

I know I heard the same thing about TT and was nervous to even meet with them becasue I knew I wanted them so bad & couldn't have them but they were pretty negotiable with pricing I thought!...
for Flowers I've heard alot about Burton's. FSIL used them & 2 of my patients from work are using them, one next aug & one this friday! But I've heard only good things about them & that their prices can't be beat becasue they charge by the size of each item not the type of flower

I think he's energetic when he needs to be?? haha we met with him & sat there for over 2 hours with him! We felt like we knew him forever. He was so easy to talk to & I felt most comfortable with him after talking with a few of them at the showcase

they were all awesome..I just felt most comfortable with dan. When I walked up to them he was just so down to earth. The others were I think Fred, Frank, & Joe e I think? & Dominick was the DJ & we picked him for our wedding too because he was awesome. They told us you're not usually allowed to choose your DJ but because our is on a Thursday they most likely will not have any other commitments that day. Its hard to coordinate them at like east wind & then have them be booked in nassau somewhere. It's just not possible some days with the travel time.
But really they are all good no matter who you choose!

I am going to pick DJ Tommy Tunes. They were really good and motivational at one of the bridal showcases I went to. And they are a house vendor of Villa's, so that helps with costs!

I thought about it, there's no place that I really wanna go all dressed up like I looove the beach but don't wanna be there in my gown & my hair will freak out haha but Villa is so beautiful I think we're just taking them there :)
