Does anyone know if Villa Lombardi's is having a showcase anytime soon? also, anyone out there have any advice or suggestions about the catering hall? We are so excited to be booked there!

you can check the website they usually put it on there. I just tried but I can't tell if it's freaking out or what it's all blank..but if you click on calendar of events at the top it's usually on the monthly calendar. I think they're like every 3 months I want to say?? not too sure though. Just give them a call maybe :)

We were actually in tonight to see the room set for 220 (with the wall down) and they said one is tentatively planned for September. It has not been approved yet! Thanks for the info!

I'm gettin married at Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jeff...it's all the same menu & the food is delicious! The CH alone is insane, we got some extras added on but they really aren't even necessary...but my parents wanted the raw seafood bar I had my Senior Prom at Villas and a few sports awards there as well. It is fantastic IMO. I'm super excited for L-O-T-S!! :) I know LOTS is having a showcase on Septemeber 16th...not sure bout Villa's though. Lombardi's is known for fantastic food & great service so we didn'y hesitate to book there GL!!!

Thanks! You are right..the food is all the same. I wouldn't mind going to a showcase at LOTS. I looked into the raw bar--my dad really wanted it...but it did put things further out of our budget. Since we are paying we decided there was enough options that on the day of he will not miss the raw bar ( I did want it too though). Instead I got my much cheaper chair covers! Thanks for the info on the 16th

Yea! I was told that they do their full CH for the showcase...which we know is an insane amount!!!!

they do have a full CH at the showcase! & yes it was insane amounts of food!! haha & all FH & kept doing was looking at eachother & going oh yea! the BEST food! We picked the BEST place!! haha the coolest thing was the mashed potato bar! sounds weird but soo good! haha both cakes were awesome too!...
question.. how much extra are the chair covers??

i love their showcases...very yummy! villa usually has their showcases in the fall and winter i'm pretty sure

I am happy to see how many villa brides there are! I never really see any on the website! The showcase is amazing! Fh and I took our parents to the showcase and everyone absolutely loved the food!

Well I'm kinda a Villa bride...a sister if you will lol. I am excited for the showcase, I haven't been to one yet! I don't have a DJ yet...I am gonna look at Tommy's Tunes b/c I know ppl that have used him and have been happy, but I will check out some others also-not sure who yet! Who are u girls using for photog & florist? And if you're getting married at RH, did u book an officiant yet?

I know not many we'll say 'Lombardi's Brides' so it's not only Villa haha I did try to start a thread numerous times on BHB but it dies pretty fast haha!
Yea we're using Tommy's Tunes too! I Think they are awesome & I knew i wanted them from 6 years ago when I saw them at a wedding..i feel like I told this story 80 times already haha but really they are so good. That happened to be performing at the showcase when we saw them & totally convinced FH that he wanted them too! I even won a free light show worth $100 for dancing on the stage like an ididot which seriously I'm so embarrassed but I was like you win a prize??!! haha
& I second Patken for photography & video!! FH's in laws all used them about 6 people in his fam & their album & video is like no other...so excited!..we saw few others at the showcase & FH didn't understand the difference until I showed him the websites next to eachother & he was like wow yea theyre awesome haha
