Check out page 10, under the topic 'Windows on the Lake & others' a few girls, including me discussed Villas vs. Windows. I was there before and the food was muy delicioso! Hope it helps.

Re: Villa Lombardi's - Negatives anyone?
That was my post
As silly as this sounds, EVERYONE raves about Villa, and I just want to know if there are any negatives. I have heard negatives about so many places and this is the only place where I have heard all around positives. I think deep down this is the place, but I just want to be 100% sure of my decision. FH LOVES John Anthony's. Villa offers the most amount of food of all the halls I have visited and the price per head is not so drastically different. ooops! off on a tangent . . . anyhow, thanks for the reply

Re: Villa Lombardi's - Negatives anyone?
I friend of a friend got married there and said everything was great! The only thing was somehting called a black list. If you go with them ask them about it before you book your vendors. They have some people who are not allowed in the hall. They gave this to her after she booked everything, thank god no one was on it. We were going to look there but fell in love with John Anthonys & stoped looking. If you love it, then go for it!

Re: Villa Lombardi's - Negatives anyone?
I recently went to a wedding there in May. The food was delicious and the service was great. I really liked the room where the coctail hour is held. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the room was set up. The room we were in was wide but not very long. Therefore, the DJ was very close to the first tables where a lot of older relatives sat. The music was too loud for them. Other than that, I think the wedding was a huge success.

Re: Villa Lombardi's - Negatives anyone?
I'm getting married at Villa tomorrow and will give you my review after. they have been great so far and there is only one person on their 'black list' which is handed out to you at your initial meeting with them before you book. BTW the black list is of people who have had many complaints by Villa brides and they are truly trying to protect future brides from a bad experience. also i found the menu and amount of dinner choices (they have 7 choices for the main entree) to blow away all the other catering halls i looked at and the price was in the same range. also they have bridal shows which you can attend if you have never tasted their food but their food is excellent - you can even try mama lombardi's next door to sample some food. mamas has been there for over 20 years and are both owned by the lombardi family.

I went to a wedding their about 4 or 5 years ago and I remember it being a really nice place with good food. I don't remember hearing any bad complaints.

Re: Villa Lombardi's - Negatives anyone?
I got married there a year ago tomorrow
I cant say anything negative, excpet I wish my time there was longer. I fell in love with the cocktail hour room. It is gorgeoue. My biggest pet peeve about weddings is NOT having room to sit and eat for the cocktail hour.
You will NOT be dissappointed.
