I am not getting married there but my best friend did last June and they did a great job and the room w/ the staircase was gorgeous!

I am getting married there in 7 weeks!! March 29th. I absolutely love the place. I have only heard great things about them. I think their location way out on the East End procludes a lot of brides from considering them. FM me if you want to talk more about it.

So far I think I might be a little behind so not the best to ask =) here is what I have....

lltravis- I am using Hampton Jitney for a shuttle bus. They have been great to work with. They will make up to 6 trips back and forth during the night. I think I am paying $895 for 8 hours. They also have a limo if you need one. We also blocked rooms at the Best Western and we are having the rehersal dinner there. How many rooms did they let you block at once? I think they gave us 25 for Saturday night and I know we are going to need more. With all the money we are giving them (rehersdal dinner, 2 breakfasts my mom is hosting, over 50 nights worth of hotel stays) they had better give us a few more rooms for the lower price I can't wait to give you ladies all my feedback- 7 weeks!!

jlf - Thats a great price for a shuttle for 8 hours!!!
What time is your ceremony/reception? Im wondering about what to do afterwards. What are you doing??

WINO I was christened at Ostabrama. My dad is buried right next door. (I know thats not so happy but oh well).
The B&B - How many people can stay there?? How much is it??

The number for Heartstring is (631) 242-2116 and you can ask for Peter Katcher. He is usually in later in the day. You could also do a search on here for reviews. I am going to meet and hear them and finalize in 2 sundays so I can let you know more then!
What are people doing for centerpeices? Iwanted to do something with candles to light it up but I am not sure..

Ditto- SOO busy today at work. Funny thing, when I got home yesterday the guy from Best Western called me to check in. He increased our number of blocked rooms no problem. We are doing our rehersal dinner there on Friday and plan to go back to the bar after the reception Saturday (6-11pm is reception) for drinks and to hang out. I am having my hair and makeup done at the hotel. A different woman is doing each- friend of the family for makeup, Maggie from some salon in Port Jeff for hair. Haven't had my hair trial yet though.
