we actually went to the cake place and looked through books of cakes they had already done, and then mixed and matched. my cake was gorgeous. let me see if i have a pic...

by the way, it also tasted amazing! we did a rolled fondant with white vanilla cake and chocolate mousse filling, and got so many compliments!

I saw your cake in your album. It's beautiful. I'll have to go down to the cake place and look at pics. I hate to call VC with all my questions just yet because the wedding it still a ways away. Thanks for the info!

I can't believe I am getting married in 2 weeks. WOW! So far Vineyard Caterers has been AMAZING. We have had no problems with them. They have been very accomadating and throw a lot of extras in at the end. John (bridal attendant) is the best. However, we will see how everything goes the day of the wedding. I will make sure I give you guys a FULL REVIEW. I know I have found them so helpful along the way! This is our menu:

Appetizer:

Fresh Mozzarella, Vine Ripened Tomato, Roasted Red Peppers, Grilled Portabella Mushroom, Atop Mesculin Greens Pesto Oil Drizzle, Balsamic Reduction, Toasted Crostini Garnish

Entrée Selection:

Chateau Briand of Filet Mignon, Bordelaise

Sliced Tenderloin of Beef Served with a Red Wine Reduction

Panko Crusted, Stiffed Breast of Chicken, Florentine

Braised Spinach, Ricotta & Fontina Cheese, Served with a Brandy Sauce

“Market Fresh” Macadamia Encrusted Mahi Mahi

Fresh Mahi Mahi Encrusted with Macadamia Nuts

Sautéed Vegetables, Placed in a Rose Shaped Puff Pastery, Finished with a Chunky Tomato Marinara
