Anyone getting married at the VIP Country Club? I would love to discuss decoration options for the interior. I had my heart set on chair covers and bows to match my bridesmaid's but they don't provide that....

I'm getting married there too!! I was also disapointed they don't have an option to cover the chairs. I looked into possibly renting the covers but the problem is getting it to match. I might just forget about it. This bothers me also....when I booked I got the dessert package and misread what it included. I wanted a chocolate fountain and apparently it's chocolate fondue. I asked if they could do the fountain instead and they said they don't do them because they are too messy. This was the one thing i really wanted too!!!

I am a VIP bride too!!!!! I think I def want seat covers b/c of the blue cushions....does not go with my color scheme....so I was planning on ordering covers with the bow but I don't know where yet...I figured thats last on my list, but I guess it might be hard to match the cream table cover. I was also a little disappointed about the choc. fondue which i originally thought was the fountain but actually I think it might be better b/c its different! Everyone has the fountain!

Re: VIP Country Club
I met with Giovanni and his work is gorgeous, really unbelievable stuff. However, i could not afford him otherwise he def would have been my first pick. I think his packages start at around $9,000 and it is just him and an assistant...so he was out of mu budget. I went with Duet who I also thought was amazing and you get two photographers.

Thank you for the info!!! I'll be sure to check highlight out. Giovanni seems very expensive, I have seen Duets work and love them and they seem to be more reasonably priced

Re: VIP Country Club
Duet was booked for my date....I have an appointment with 12th night. There's a ton of posts on here about them. The only thing is it's on LI so they said there would be a fee to come to Westchester but they wouldn’t tell me how much it would be on the phone. I wish there were more posts about Westchester or NYC vendors :(

Girls Congrats!!! i just want to give you a heads up about VIP i was at a wedding there this weekend and I was very disapointed at the service Weiters where unprofesional i felt like i was at a Diner and my BF went to the bathroom there where 3 gyus-- waiters --shaiving and washing them selfs up in there ...not nice for the guests to see especialy if you are paying 150 per plate ...at one point of the wedding the bride asked for the air to be turned up bacause it was too hot ...it did not happen she got realy upset riped her dress and all ... this is just a heads up ....not every wedding or experiance is the same

Re: VIP Country Club
They don't have the option to cover the chairs? I guess they just added that now because I just went like last week and when i booked i told Michael that I wanted seat covers cause I hated the blue cushons and he said there was no problem and he ordered them.

Re: VIP Country Club
I'm so upset at the time they said it wasnt even an option. Now it's prob too late to add it into my contract. I met with John also. Maybe I should call and ask about it. He knew I really wanted it too. Thanks for the information.
