Anyone getting married at the VIP Country Club? I would love to discuss decoration options for the interior. I had my heart set on chair covers and bows to match my bridesmaid's but they don't provide that....
It might not be too late, look into it and stress that you really want it, im sure that they would do everything to make you happy.
Can I also ask you how many stations you are having for the cocktail hour. They told us we could choose 3 but I feel like thats so little? He said the stations are huge but I just want to make sure.
If your talking about cocktail hour then Yes, three, but there's one station that takes up two tables. when I went they were setting up for a wedding and it did look like there was going to be alot of food.
Did you choose the Delux Dinner?
I don't even know what that is lol. They gave me a folder with what they offer and that was it. I'm getting the option of doing 4 entrees at dinner plus a veggie option for the non meat eaters. What's the deluxe dinner??
Then I believe you have the delux dinner... does that include white glove service? im having the chef's special 3 other entrees and the veggie option.
I guess it's the same thing. Maybe they've changed things around since I book a while back or they're just giving it a fancy name now lol. Sounds like we are having the same thing. I heard Arcadia is expensive as well but I would like to find out because I would prefer someone local.
I am looking at arcadia and verbena but I cant stand when businesses dont answer back to emails. Like why put your email on your site if you arent going to respond back to any questions or whatever. Especially that the person i emailed was the owner, thats so unprofessional of them. You want me to spend thousands there but yet you wont answer an email give me a break! im going to see what arcadia says ill let you know
TY that helps cause now I have a diff photog in mind. Would you mind telling me how many ppl u r having at ur wedding and how much did they charge? because MDR was one of my choices but they were way over priced.

Lucky you! You got chair covers at no charge, I think Im going to see if they can give them to me!!!!! I was questioning the cocktail hour also so Im glad you cleared it up. We need more VIP brides on here!!!!
They threw in the chair covers because I am paying 140 pp. They dont own the covers, they rent them.
Ok girls so I've been thinking...not sure this is even possible but here it goes. I looked online and it doesn't seem to be that expensive to buy chaircovers....like $6!! Even though thats what they quoted it is to rent. Maybe we can work something out with the hall where we pay some of it and they pay some of it and they can keep them for future brides!! Just a thought doub it will happen but I really want these covers!!
HAHA... I very much doubt they will fork over anything... Maybe it would be different if you tell them that you will buy the covers and give them the covers to keep afterwards if... idk they throw something in at no cost to you. I was just going to buy them at let them keep them because i find it really unfair that brides gotta go out of their way and get headaches to rent them from other vendors when they have their own vendor that they rent them from. vip asked me for 6$ to rent covers which i didnt think was all that bad and then i started sufing the web and its a whole lot when online they have them for half that price. I just hope that later on, they dont decide they want to throw little surprises at me like forking over more money. and omg how those damn chair are so darn ugly!
