I agree... i commend those who waited!!! But i do agree that it is special no matter what- everyone has their own methods though.
FH and I had been seeing each other for like a month,,, but as far as Officially dating- we were official 6/6 and 'made samwiches' 6/8
if it counts for anything though... it was a reaaaaaaaaaaaaally long 48 hours editted for typos

And DH was my first, just not on the wedding night.
My dh was my first I lost my virginity at 18 after 2 years of dating. I am 26 now we are HS sweethearts.

Age has got to have a lot to do with this. I'm getting married two months before I turn 30..I cannot imagine still being a virgin. But If I FH in say High School, it might have been different.Fh was clearly not my first and I cant remeber 'when' but I think it was 3rd date..
ETA- I couldnt even imagine it being anyway other then the way it was, I didnt want to 'wait'. But for those that did, I'm glad you waited if thats what was important to you.
Maybe religion comes into this too? I mean isint that the biggest reason to wait? When I lost my virginity I was 'ready' so I dont know know why people wait really?

Religion did come into play when DH and I discussed this. DH and I were ready since day one but our belief that you wait until marriage was more important than the fact that we were ready.
