Visited my dress today PICS IN ALBUM

I went to view my dress today and was so relieved that a) I still love it, b) I love it in ivory, even though I never saw it in ivory and c) It's big on me--been trying to lose a few lbs.

Just not crazy about my headpiece. I really didn't want to look very princess-y and I feel like it's REALLY princessy. What do you guys think?

that dress looks so great on you!! i see what you mean about the princessy look...hmm...are you sure with your hair style it won't play itself down? i like the headpiece itself though!

I was going to wear the front and sides back--I think that makes it even more princessy though.

hehe you're welcome! hmm yeah i just checked out your hair trial pics, i can def see what you're talking about. how about a different headpiece, i dunno, maybe a comb? that would look REALLY nice with your hairstyle in the trial...

OMG its BEAUTIFUL!!!! The dress AND the headpiece!!! Maybe the photo doesn't capture it right but I really don't think its princessy- it seems more headband-y!! My head is a tiara-free zone too, i went for a vine-y headpiece!! But you can definitely change the headpiece if you're really not in love with it, that's an easy fix!! I happen to think it looks great though!

personally im not a tiara girl at all, but i think yours goes very nicely with your dress!!

Love the dress, love the headpiece, love it all. I dont think it looks too princessy...I think it looks bride-y. I like it!

The dress is beautiful.. and you look great in it!!! Like the headpiece... don't like the veil.. there's just something about the veil.. I don't know what it is...

What a beautiful dress! And you are gorgeous in it! I think the headpiece works well and is not too princessy. I would keep it!!

The dress looks wonderfull, and I think your headpiece ties in perfectly with the dress. It mimics the bands of beading on the bodice and on the waist.
Are you planning on wearing your veil the entire ceremony ?
