VOTIVE PLACECARDS

Original post by jro1381

I bought the votives for my placecards. I was planning on putting clear stickers on them with printed names and table numbers. It seems like everyone is cutting out vellum paper on them. Do you think that has a way better effect. The stickers would be so much quicker to do, adn the paper would be sooo time consuming. What should I do. PLease advise!!!

You can actually purchase the votives online...they're frosted with clear labels... I think it's from Terry's Village. The clear labels look good on the frosted votives...gives the vellum look.

I've never seen the frosted votive with clear stickers to know how it looks but the vellum really wasn't that hard to do at all. Not that time consuming either.

Do you use the votives with the candle already in the holder
or do you buy them seperate with a tea candle???
Does that make sense??

I was just at Target & got 8 clear votives for $4.00 (50 cents each!!!!)

I'm undecided w/ the labels or vellum.

For girls using vellum paper, how are you attaching to votive?

Also, I saw someone was using frosted labels, where did you find them?

You can get them at Staples or any Office Depot.. They are Avery brand # 5663.
