Maybe wait it out till you have more concrete answers...Are they willing to postpone your wedding? I bet a lot of vendors would be willing to work with you giving the cicumstances. I am not sure how your contract is, maybe they can give you a complete refund and you can go elsewhere. I think you will know for sure, way before your invites need to go out. And, even if you had them printed, you can always include a separate card, with the new date or location. Or reach out to your invitation vendor too, perhaps they can redo them for you for free or at what it would cost her. People are usually willing to to go above and beyond in these circumstances. I can only imagine how stressful thisis, but try not to worry things will work out and you will have a wonderful wedding.

Omg that is so horrible!! I'm so sorry!! I wouldn't do anything yet, I would wait to speak to a BM. They would prob know better then a crestwood employee. Oh I hope that they will be done in time for your wedding!! :-/

I am sorry to hear this Lisa. I pray that it will be ready in time for your wedding. Speak to a BM they might have more concrete information. If it took that long to repair I can see them losing a lot of business so I hope they can repair it quicker.

Thanks everyone! As of right now I am still waiting to hear from a banquet manager. If they tell me that I don't have to move my date, I am going to ask for it in writing. It's too much of a risk for me to take. I am also praying that they will tell me I can keep my date.

I was just with my friend tonight who is getting married there in july. they wenbt down to take pics... the whole brick deck where ceremonies are held is gone, either in the water or blown down. They were waiting to hear back from a BM too

yeah - they posted pictures on facebook of the damage a few days ago. They are planning on re-opening mid-feb/early march so she will be fine.

My BM emailed me and I asked her if it would be reopened for my wedding in April and she said I had plenty of time and not to worry. She didn't give me a specific time frame when it would be reopened though.

Who is your BM? When I spoke to crestwood manor they told me mid-feb/early march. So yes, you have plenty of time.

I am very frustrated that you were e-mailed and I haven't heard anything. I contacted them on Friday and haven't heard anything back.

I called the BM again, and Daisy said they plan on reopening in January or February. I am so nervous that she just said that to reassure me. I definitely want to call back in a few weeks and get it in writing.

I know after Irene they opened back up but the patio was not safe to use for a few weeks after that. So maybe they will open in Feb but not be fully operational till March? I e-mailed my BM yesterday and still have not heard either.

Hello all VYC brides. I sent an email on Thursday to Felicia and have no yet heard back. I am getting married there in August, which it appearing to be enough time, but I think we are all in the same boat with wanting answers. Wishing the best for those getting married earlier than myself! We'll get through this!

Hi - You are definitely safe with August. They are very very overwhelmed there and are trying to take care of their november/december brides at the moment. I have heard January, February, and March opening dates. You have plenty of time regardless. I know us March brides are sending our invites out soon - so I had wanted to confirm that they were safe to send.

Its possible, I'm not too concerned about the patio. I wasn't planning on using it, but I really wanted pictures on the stairs. I guess I will just be holding my breath to see what happens. Keep me posted about what you hear, I'll do the same for you!

I went there on Sunday. Unpleasantly surprised is all I can say. There was such an awful odor. I think we may be looking for a new venue :(

I went there and took pictures. They had damage to the back patio,landscaping and the basement whee the bridal suite and offices got flooded. I was told they would be up and running by Jan 15th. There was an odor but that is too be expected due to the wet carpets downstairs. That will be all taken care of once they rip the carpets out and redo it. We love it there and arnt worried at all. We get to have a brand new porch a bridal suite plus the room is perfectly fine and thats where we are spending our time anyway.
