R u walking down with just your dad or with both parents?
I love the traditional way but my mom is a huge part of my life what to do??? what to do?????

My mom is going to walk me down the long stairs and my dad will be waiting to take me from her and take me to the fh... so they both are having there moment with me

My uncle is walking me down the aisle. We'll have a chair with flowers and a picture in honor of my dad.

i keep going back and forth btwn just my dad and both my mom and dad. i'm so much closer to my mom but i want to involve my dad.

My grandfather died before his THREE daughters got married. They all walked with my grandma. I know if it was me I would want to walk with someone because I'll be so nervous and I'll need the emotional support. Just something to think about in case you end up thinking you can't do it alone.

I'm not sure yet. My mom thinks it is my dads place - she's pretty traditional... but my mother is my best friend and I'd really like for her to walk me down also!

Hope this helps, I wanted to involve the mom's too. My dad is walking me down the isle. We're having the mom's do part of the candle Lighting ceremony. THey're going to light the two candles surrounding the unity candle together. From there FH and I will light the Unity candle from the two candles they just lit. I think it's a great way to include them.. you know?'
I'm doing the same thing! And i want the dads to shake hands after the mom's light the candles to involve them too.

i would suggest whatever is most important to you - if your mom is that important to you - dont worry about tradition - i am certainly not traditional - my dad passed away when i was really really young - so i have my stepdad and my uncle walking me
