Is anyone not putting the veil over their face when they walk down the aisle? I don't want to, but I don't know if that is considered to be wrong??

I am not. I don't think I have ever been to a wedding where they have done that. It is pretty though...

I'm doing the same as Jenn. But you should do what you want to do

Re: Walking down the aisle
I didn't have a blusher - no veil over my face walking down the aisle.
Its not wrong at all - I think its becoming more common. While I liked the image of my dad lifting my veil, I didn't want to be looking through a veil as I walked down.

I put it over my face, and it stayed back after my dad kissed me and gave me away

Re: Walking down the aisle
I am. It will get put back after my father gives me away. I have actually never been to a wedding where this wasn't done.
However, it's not wrong to not wear it- do whatever you feel most comfortable in!

I didn't. At the last minute I decided I could not stand the veil over my face so off it came.

You don't have to do anything you do not want to do. I left my blusher on throughout the entire ceremony :)

Re: Walking down the aisle
i don't think its wrong - anythign goes today and if you don't want it, don't get it....some people don't even wear veils, they might get fresh flowers or something else instead....its your day (and your fiancee's too!) so you both deicde and if anyone says anything just smile and tell them you are starting your own special tradition.....

I'm not doing it either. It's one less thing to worry about. Actually, my FH doesn't like them, and said it reminds him of death. Nice!!!! Men...
