Walking down the aisle pregnant?...

Original post by Butterflybride

I found out the other week that I am pregnant and though I don't know the due date yet (I find out tomorrow!), I figure that I will be due in July, making me 7 months pregnant for my May wedding. I really don't want to change the date, but most of my family thinks we should try to push it up. I know though that even if the Swan club can push us up to an earlier date, there is no way that all our booked vendors will be able to do the same and there is no way I'm going to push the wedding back, because I want to be married when my baby is born. We're not getting married in a church, so do you think it is wrong to walk down the aisle so obviously pregnant?

Yes, I really do think you should move up the date. I think it might just be too overwhekming for you to be on your feet all that time , taking pics, dancing, etc... It might not be so good for your health. Also, it is a lot of emotional excitement that day.

I think if you don't mind the above and you have a stiff upper lip when it comes to some people talking, I think it is fine. I personally don't have that and would not want everyone focusing on the pg-nancy but the union and marriage so would probably move it up.
