Ok so long story short we found a cockapoo whose owner couldn't keep her anymore and we felt so bad and took her. We absolutely love her but the problem is our puppy Oreo is constantly bothering her and she hides in the corners to get away from him all day. I feel horrible because they are alone all day and I can just imagine how much he bothers her. So we were thinking if we could find another home for her if not we would keep her I just feel bad for her. She is so sweet such a loving dog and is a lap dog.

Thank you! We took her this week because her last owner didn't care for her. We took her to the groomer and got her a new leash and collar and she is adorable!

Thanks! We have only had her for a week but I don't know if it will get better. Oreo is a puppy with lots and lots of energy and she is a very mellow dog who doesn't want to be bothered. LOL. I tried separating them but Oreo goes crazy and scratches the door and cries.

Awww. Maybe they just need time to get used to each other. My FH and I inherited his mother's dog and at the beginning she (German Sheperd) used to kind of bully my FH's dog (Wheaton Terrier...big mush!)...take his toys/bone and snap at him if he even walked past her when she had something. Then he started chasing her all of the time...he's not fixed, she is! Anyway, it took some time, but things got much better. She's even warmed up more and has more of a personality now. In fact, lately she has become my shadow. How long has it been?

Her name is Tinkerbell. She is a year and a half and fully trained. She is spayed and had all of her shots but I think she is due for shots in 2 months.

Would you consider bringing in some sort of trainer to help the two get used to each other? I bet over time Oreo will calm down and get used to having her in the house... Oreo is probably just so excited. Hope it all works out. Again, good luck!

Thank you definitely a good idea. If we can't find someone to take her I definitely will keep her and they will have to get used to each other. LOL I just feel bad because she has the personality that she likes to be left alone and is a calm dog and oreo is the opposite so he annoys her all of the time!

They are just too cute together.
I wish I could take Tinkerbell..but we have our hands full with Max (our 1 year old yellow lab)...he has Oreo's playful energy.
Hopelly everything works out...she looks like a good dog

I think they'll be all right. I'm sure if she gets annoyed enough she'll give Oreo a sign...she probably just walks away from him.
