WARNING for anyone buying the personalized stamps!!

DAMNNN I am sooo po'd!! I paid a lot of money for those personalized stamps and my FMIL just said she got her invite today and they went across our WHOLE picture with some bar and you can't even see the picture!! NOT the hand cancel thing.. cause that was done.. it was run through another machine I guess and covered the WHOLE stamp!!!

That stinks. You could have used the ugly stamps for that. OMG I am sorry!

Don't stress too much - I HIGHLY DOUBT they are all like that!

I ordered custom stamps, too (though not pics) and I had the pleasure of seeing several that were returned (grr) and also several that had been delivered. None had that done!

I bet they ran the envelope through the machine at the receiving post office upside down (and possibly backwards as well) and that covered up the stamp.

Don't worry - I bet the rest of the arrived just fine!

maybe one or 2 of em it happend to ,, & the one or 2 was your fmil 's .. Yea I perosally had em done because the stamps costed me a fortune & I didnt want that to happen .. Call the pos office

REMEMBER - If you hand canceled them, then the only machines they went through are at the receiving post office. This means even if it happened to all the invites at that particular post office, it didn't happen to all the other invites going to other zip codes. That said, it likely only happened to one or two invites tops, so don't worry about it.

i used custom stamps on my STDs and they arrived fine. actually, of the ones that i saw, i thought they looked pretty perfect and almost resusable. the glossy paper they are printed on almost resists the ink used in many of the cancellers so it didnt cover the image at all. as far as i know none of mine had this issue so it def could be the recieving post office.
