My MOH asked me 'what would you like to do for your bachlorette party'...well, I definitely do not want the club scene or the nyc scene. I would rather go to a fun bar, hang out with my girls and have an amazing night. Nothing to expensive....anyhow, I have turned into a 'country' girl and it is hard to find an upbeat country/dance place. Any suggestions? My FH and I are never picky and play the jukebox and play pool, but I want my Bachlorette party to be different. Any suggestions? Suffolk or Nassau girls please help??? Thanks

A friend of mine went to a Country Western place in the city and had a great time and they are not into country at all they are regular club girls. I think it was Diamond something.

Matty T's on Commack Road is a great place for country music and they teach you line dancing on some nights. Go check it out one night before your B-party and see if its something you would like. YOu can also ask when they will teach line dancing.

Re: Was asked a tough question...
I've been there and I am not a huge fan of the place because everyone is VERY serious about line dancing. Actually, I don't line dance I just like the music lol Anyway, thanks...

I checked a website that shows country western bars in NY. Denim and Diamonds is now closed. The only one they listed was Mattie t's.

Re: Was asked a tough question...
sorry didnt see your other post. i dont know of any other places, you could try NYC country bars but you said you didnt want NYC
we went to The Donkey Show for mine. I hate NYC (work there and didnt want to be there), not in to the big clubs scene either. The Donkey Show was soooo much fun. Its like a big disco with music from back in the day. We had a great time and my only complaint is that it wasnt long We all want to go back again.
good luck and have fun where ever you go

You could always do a weekend! That's what we are doing for mine. I don't even know where we are going!
Nashville isn't that expensive!

Re: Was asked a tough question...
There is supposed to be a HUGE country bar in northern NJ. I went to Texas in May with my fiance and it was a cheap trip and it was amazing. There are more bars there then I have ever seen and they are all huge. Check out Billy Bob Texas. When we went Huey Lewis was playing there and I think it was 10 bucjs to get in.
