Was or is everybody nervous about fh bachelor party?

Original post by frisky1947

I definately am. My fh is having at least 2, one from work and one from his ushers. They are going to Philadelphia for an Eagles game and I know that his friends are hiring a stripper. I guess I should mention that my fh is a police officer and so are his friends. Last week was his bosses bachelor party in AC and they hired strippers. I was even told that something happened.

How does everyone feel about their fh bachelor parties?

I thinkit's raunchy

I second that. I am so against them. They just aren't moral.

Agree. Trust FH, but one or two of his friends are real idi@ts and it's annoying that FH has to even be around them.

Who are we to judge what is moral or not?

I think she was expressing an opinion - JMO

I would only be leary if one of his bachelor parties had him going to Montreal - it is legal to touch boobies there. Luckily we are getting married in the dead of winter and if he wants to travel almost 10 hours to touch boobies in the snow, more power to him!

Touch boobies! I love that!

My husband went to Vegas for his and I wasn't worried at all. Honestly at this point if you have to worry about him doing something then something isnt right.

now that i've acutally experienced a b-party from both sides...i rather be a side person at a b-party. being your party, i acutally had less fun. not sure why ... besides, b-partys are overrated. you girls have nothing to worry about. us guys know we need you girls in our lives and we will always be coming home to you

I was totally not worried, DH was planning 3! One in Montreal, One with work, and one on LI. The LI one didnt happen, so he had 2. Then this past July he went on 2 one in Annapolis and one in New Orleans.

I totally trust my DH. If one of hte other guests decides to 'do something' that is between them and their SO. I honestly can say the only thing I was worried about with any of the bachelor parties, is that I would get a call saying they got arrested!

Personally I dont see what the big deal is. I dont really know why some brides to be get all worked up about it. I think its a fun rite of passage. Maybe I would be annoyed if my DH was jumping up and down telling me how excited he was to see all these naked women. But even thought I know they saw more than their fair share of strippers and 'peep' shows in Montreal. It honestly never occured to me to be upset or jealous. I even made the reservations for everyone to New Orleans.

For those of you who keep bringing up that there is no reason for your FHs to be looking at a naked woman's body before your wedding, would you be this upset if you caught them watching a movie with nudity? To me although it is very different, as long as its not a regular thing and he's coming home to me, I dont see the big deal.

not nervous at all. hes not so much into the stripper thing. he just wants to have good guy time and drink beers. a stripper would not thrill him at all.

Not that I'm nervous that he'll do anything but everyone on here has to admit, that having their FH staring at some other chick all night, isn't the most fun thing... you know?

I think that's a little presumptious.

I was totally excited for my DH's bachelor party, which was in atlantic city. I knew he would have so much fun with his brothers and that I had nothing at all to worry about, or to really even think about. It was just 'another night out' to me. There will always be temptations...bachelor party or not. And if you have trust in your life partner, then really, there should be no issues at all.

FH isn't into strippers. If he was, I wouldn't want him getting a lap dance. I trust him, that's not the issue. I know FH wouldn't want another man's penis shoved in my face either!

in my opinion - whether the boys go to a bachelor party or not and see a naked woman or two...it doesn't matter.

THEY CAN SEE THEM ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME, if they so desire.

And, if you think he is going to do something he 'normally wouldn't do' because 'his guy friends' are going to 'make him', or get him so drunk he doesn't know what he's doing...then it's time to seriously re-evaluate your relationship.

All that being said... I still don't think it's the most exciting thing ever to have naked girls dancing in my FHs face.

Its not really a big deal, but still not my favorite thing.

I'm not saying it has to be your favorite thing or it has to be the most exciting.

I'm simply saying it doesn't have to be a BIG thing! It's one day. Or a few hours. In the grand scheme of things, it's really nothing.

Well ... I have mixed emotions. I completely trust my fiance, but just the thought of it makes me a little ill. I've heard and known about some seriously disgusting things happening at a few and I couldn't believe it.

So ... being the good guy my fiance is, he doesn't want your typical bachelor party. He's thinking about having all the guys go skydiving and then go 'drink like vikings' somewhere.

Last year his best friend took them all out on a fishing trip and then just hung back at the house, smoked cigars, drank and cooked the fish they caught.

That's what I'm talking about!

I trust him- he is going to vegas and staying at the palms hotel

I KNOW there will be strippers everywhere- but he thinks they are gross- they will be mostly for his friends- he is the first one to get married- and they are having a harder time with it

he already admitted that he will want to come home after one day

I never gave it a second thought. I trusted him and his friends.

Honestly...I don't even know if he's having one. He was married before...anyway, in that one he went to Gillians with the guys. He's such a wonderful guy...His idea of a bachelor party would be Yankee Game & a Steakhouse..Heck! I'd like to do that too!

I'm sorry I know I'm a minority but I don't agree with the stripper thing at all!

I've been to a bunch of batcher parties and that’s probably why I feel the way I do. I can't believe what some men do

Call me jealous, insecure, whatever. It has nothing to do with trust I just don’t think it’s appropriate or respectful to have another girl rubbing her boobs, *** & all over my FH.

Looking is one thing but I consider him touching another women sexually (putting dollars down her pants & in-between her breasts) cheating. Having her knee rub up on his .

No Bueno!!!

I don't think any less of a girl who doesn’t mind. Please don't take it that way. I wish I didn't care, but I do!

Needless to say we have a no stripper policy for both of us. He hates strippers anyway, and in all honesty if his friends dragged him to a strip club, what can I do. I draw the line at hiring strippers in hotel rooms and stuff. At least one is definitely “getting off” if you know what I mean. I’ve seen it too many times.

No to go on but his single days were over when we started dating. If he still felt the need to see, touch etc. other women he should have done that when he was actually single. Not before were about to be married!
