Was your dh/fh your first........

YES! And I am so proud of that decision in my life. For the longest time I wanted to wait until marriage and then I got older and started to forget why I wanted to wait. Then I met FH and I knew that I was going to marry him and I told myself it was okay. I am so happy because of my decision.

I'm in the majority as well. But I was 33 when I got married! I couldn't imagine waiting that long in my life to have a physical experience. While I think it would have been wonderful if my DH was my first (and I his first), it would be a little unrealistic to expect us to wait until the ages of 33 for me, and 35 for him! Just my opionion, though.

ETS: While there is something special about your husband being your first, I don't regret my prior experiences at all. I'm actually glad that I slept with more than one man. I think I would always be curious about it if my DH was my one and only. Again, that's just me.

Same as kmcwed for me. Being an older bride makes it a little harder to wait
