Can you tell me how much on average your water bill is? How often do you get your water bill. We got our bill and it was so much more than I thought it would be and we don't even have a pool and for a month of that, the house sat empty. I am floored. I still floored when I subtract the $30 for being a new service.

the water bill is for 3 months and ours is around $45-$55 per period
If you think the bill is too high ask them for a meter reading to check your meter

We are serviced by the Jericho Water district. We get billed every other month. We don't have a pool or anything. Our bill is usually $12.50! It has been as low as $7.50. Remember, that is every other month, so I was thinking 'cheap' (about $6.25 per month).

Our water bill comes every 4 months and its usually between $10 & $15

We constantly have water running here and it is about $65 every other month. Could your pond be the problem?

I didn't think it was the pond because the waterfall works through the filter so it is supposed to be the same water. I will call them on Monday. The only thing I am thinking is that they got the reading for June, July but they didn't have an actual reading for August. Plus this house was basically empty for 3-3 1/2 weeks so there was not a lot of water consumption. Ugh I don't know I will call them. I was expecting about $30 not this
