Water in Jamaica OK to drink?

HM related--is the water in jamaica OK to drink or should I stick to bottled? TIA!

I'm guessing that you're going someplace all-inclsive? Well most of the hotels have filtration systems so you should be fine. If you feel funny about drinking the water than stick to bottled, but I really don't think you'll have a problem.

It's an all inclusive but I was thinking about the mixed drinks, drinks with ice, etc...

I am sure you have nothing to wory about... a resort cannot serve contaminated water whether in a drink, ice, etc...

I've had mixed/icy drinks in Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Mexico and I was fine each time.

dont drink the water from the faucet and dont brush your teeth with the tap water either. i went to jamacia with my friend last year. i was fine but she was not... be careful they will also have signs throughout the resort i bet.

I wouldn't say yes or no, but just a thought.. do you want to take any chances on your honeymoon and end up being sick??

Our daughter got the cocksakie virus (spelling) from drinking the water..kids are more sensative than adults so we loaded up on boottled water..I didnt drink the water straight but had drinks etc and we were fine.

NO....drink ONLY bottled water. We drank ONLY bottled water in Punta Cana, and brushed with tap water and we were fine
