Definately scope out what the table numbers are in if you can. I think they are silver frames from the brochure. I am in the Vanderbilt room - cant wait for it!!

Anyone plan on decorating the fireplace with candles? I was thinking of doing that, but haven't talked to the staff at the Watermill about it - I figured they would let us..also, I remember when we looked at it, them saying something about the lighting - like changing the color, do any of you remember that?

I remember them saying for the carnegie room you can change the lighting - but it's only to make it brighter or dimmer.

I'll ask around or see if I can find how table numbers are set up.

Also, anyone doing a candy buffet? If so, where and when are they displaying it?

Who do you talk to about tha? I was thinking of it, but still deciding on it. Not sure if I want to spend the money on it since we are having a veitenese (cant spell) hour.

I'm doing one I'm going to chat w/ them about it tomorrow - I'm thinking it will just be on one of the smaller tables that they then bring in. If you're doing vietnese hour, not sure if you need candy buffet - will be sweets overload! haha

I know, that's why I am thinking of not doing it.- But I just love the way they look!

By the way, I just looked at you albums- I love the menus you made! I can not believe you made them yourself!! I love all that stuff, but I can not do it myself. great job!

I am in the vanderbuilt room and my BM says that there is a bathroom attendant and an amenity basket in the bathrooms...I forgot to look at the bathrooms when I was there....
I went out and bought candles at Michaels bc my BM said he can supply 2 per table...just wasn't enough for me plus I want some on the mantle!!

Yeah, there is an attendant and a basket with amenities for you. The bahrooms are nice, wasnt crazy about the stall doors because the rest of the bathroom is updaed except that part but who cares we will no tbe spending a lot of time in the bathroom. I know downstairs we have our own bathrooms, but I am assuming they would do the same upstairs - cant hurt to ask about it.

Yeah, I am planning on putting more than 2 candles on the table as well...I'm thinking 4 just to make it symmetrical and def candles in like different size on the fireplace - think it will make a nice touch!!

I got a dj with uplighting :) no one ever said anything about the lighting to me. They don't give up too much info, you have to ask for everything! Lol I am confused on where my place cards, sign in book and photo booth are going to go....I have to see the room again on Thursday at the showcase

Thank yoou!!! It's pretty easy to do! Just need to get paper and a printer and scissors and glue lol.

I'm a Watermill Bride also! I'm in the Vanderbilt room! Can't wait I think I'll decorate the Mantel with candles and maybe a couple of pictures. The only thing I remember them saying about lighting was that we could change the color that is on behind the faux windows. He showed us it in a light red color.

Girls do u need me to take any pics of anything when I go on Thursday?? Or report bacon anything specific?
