** Watermill Brides 2011 Thread **

I can't think of any questions right now that I have for you to ask them. Just curious about the table numbers, but I think they are in silver frames. If you could check that out, it would be great.

Also, where do they put the favors?

Did they have a lot of choices of table linens for you to choose from when you went to do that?

Also, how are you girls that are in the vanderbilt room doing your centerpieces? I was thinking of having high and low.
And how many people are you or did you invite? I know they say that room holds 400 but i dont think so, how many are you putting at a table?

Centerpieces I am doing all low with rose petals to elongate it. I am doing my own table numbers. I invited 210 people and will sit 12-14 at each table. Favors they will put on the tables per your request. My favors are part of my place card. Table linens they have ivory or champagne. I requested black napkins and they got them for me :)

From the cakes you could choose from - where they all 3 or 4 tiers?

Yes they were and they were all buttercream and all circle. No colors. We picked cake number 5 but we asked for square and we have to provide ribbon or flowers to incorporate the colors

3 or 4 tiers? FH and I think we want a 4 tier, but weren't sure if that's considered an 'upgrade'. Don't mind buttercream + all circle...This is the kind of cake we're eyeing now --- did you see anything close to it??? Obviously flowers would be extra hah

Oh ok good, I hate butter cream, and I don't want fondant either lol - I don't know what that leaves me - but I'm glad it won't be extra

Yes they have similar cakesto the one you like and they will customize I a little. I think u will be fine :)

Ohhhh good to hear.

Btw, I went to use the bathroom today and there was a little basket of stuff for people -- toothpaste, bandaids, etc. and a bathroom attendent.

I would just confirm that they will have the same when you go there. This was the upstairs bathroom, and maybe the person hosting the party brought it in? I just noticed it in there...So definately don't return until you confirm! (that rhymes too lol)

I am doing high centerpieces and I invited about 200 people, hopefully it will turn out to be 185. I think i will do about 10-12 people per table.

I remeber seeing on the website somewhere a black picture frame that really looked nice for the table numbers. I hope that's the one they use at my wedding. Its on my list of things to ask when I meet with them for my final meeting.

Thanks for the info about the linens. I think I will request navy blue napkins since those are my colors (navy blue, cream).

As far as the cake picking and all that, about how much time before you get married do they start discussing those things with you? I'm not till November, so I know I have time but just excited and curious about it!

Do they provide candles for the cake table or do we have to?

I forgot to ask all of these questions when I booked! I guess I could always email Samantha with them too! Have you guys found her helpful?

You meet with them anywhere from 6-8 weeks for the final menu, linens, table settings, etc.

Definately reach out to Samantha - she's absolutely wonderful!!!!
