Watermill wedding review

We went to a wedding at the Watermill on Friday. I havent been to a wedding there in about 10 years and was very impressed by the new decor and ambiance. Everything was beautiful! The chapel was gorgeous...they have stunning chandeliers and they set up tv screens on either side of the walls, so there is not a bad seat in the house.
The cocktail hour was very good...food was great, the fireplaces were going...it was very pretty.
The reception too was a lot of fun. We danced most of the night...Tommy Tunes was the DJ and he was up dancing enjoying himself...which made it all the more entertaining. The dinner was awesome...we both had the Chateau Briand. Our only negative was that the valet parking was a bit slow...it was pouring rain and two weddings let out at the same time. We had to wait quite awhile for our car and ended up cold and soaked as a result.
With that, all in all though, we had an excellent time and were very impressed by the Watermill :o)

that stinks about the valet parking.. but i'm happy to hear about everything else you wrote!

I've only seen the renderings for the new chapel. I'm glad to hear the news from someone who actually saw it.

I hateeeeeeeeeeeeeee waiting for the valet. Hopefully since we've gone with the extra 1 1/2 hours our wedding will let out after the other one, if someone actually booked the bottom room.

i've seen the new chapel twice and i love it! i think it's sooo pretty and i can't wait to use it soon! lol. next time you're there, ask to see it! that's what i did and they had no problem showing it to me!
